Description Stefan Böhmann 2007-09-24 21:50:05 UTC
glibc 2.6.1 fails to compile on my pentium-m laptop. I updated gcc to version 4.2.0 before I tried to compile glibc. After the first fail I tried to re-emerge binutils - but glibc fails twice.

The build.log is attached. Here my emerge info:

Portage 2.1.3.9 (default-linux/x86/2007.0/desktop, gcc-4.2.0, glibc-2.5-r0, 2.6.22-gentoo-r5 i686)

You have LD_LIBRARY_PATH set somewhere? If so, then unset it.

Embarrassing! A bad workman blames his tools. ;-)

Thanks!
