When i use inkscape (version 0.45.1) a was found 2 problems.
The first one, it has failed to open PS/EPS file. I was found a solution:

Changing 8'th line of file:
/usr/share/inkscape/extensions/sk2svg.sh
from
8: skconvert "$1" "$TMPSVG" > /dev/null || rc=1
to
8: LC_ALL="C" skconvert "$1" "$TMPSVG" > /dev/null || rc=1

after this action ps/eps files opened correctly.

The second problem is dialog box with some unuseful information about pstoedit,
that appears then i'am trying to open PS/EPS file:

there is no solution by me for this bug.

missing emerge info, looks like a locale issue, maybe it should be reported upstream
