Recompile net-libs/c-client and try again.
Comment 7 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-24 07:30:51 UTC
If that doesn't help, also recompile net-misc/curl (or really anything in the list in Comment #6 that has screwed linking against kerberos).
Comment 8 Matthias Reineke 2007-09-24 08:34:21 UTC
Recompiling c-client and curl did not help.

Additionally there is a reject in elibtool.log:

Well, so recompile the others mentioned above. That libtool thing is really not a bug (and unrelated as well).
Comment 10 Matthias Reineke 2007-09-24 11:54:28 UTC
I recompiled all libraries excluding libc. Didn't help.
Comment 11 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-24 11:56:46 UTC
Well, not many ideas left then...

Is your openssl sane? Tried without USE="-threads" ?
Comment 12 Matthias Reineke 2007-09-24 16:53:24 UTC
Without "oci8" and with "ldap" USE flag, php compiles ok.

With "oci8" and without "ldap" USE flag, php compiles ok.

With "oci8" and "ldap" USE flag, php compiles with "--with-ldap=/usr/lib/oracle/current/client" (!) and fails.

The "auth_gssapi_valid" problem exists on all of our systems.

Openssl is sane.

Dupe of bug 180391
Comment 14 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-24 17:08:35 UTC
Might get fixed or not, frankly PHP4 is so totally unmaintained upstream and vulnerable to so many security issue that we consider masking it.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 180391 ***
Comment 15 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-24 17:15:09 UTC
Eh, it's already been fixed, meaning that your ORACLE_HOME variable is misconfigured.
Comment 16 Matthias Reineke 2007-09-24 17:47:53 UTC
Sorry, but no, it´s not fixed. The problem came with one of the last packages we updated. Oracle's home is set correct. (compilation with oci8 is successful).
Comment 17 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-24 17:54:39 UTC
Well, then it won't be ever fixed, sorry. It works with PHP 5.2, plus this extension is unsupported.
