Please consider version bumping seahorse to latest stable 2.20. It finally builds with gpg-2, which is the main reason for me to upgrade (no more gpg-1.4). I used the latest ebuild, did away with the 2 epatches there and it runs nicely on my ~amd64 box, using gnome-2.18. (you won't need to wait for gnome 2.20 to get that in).
