segmentation faults are mostly real compiler problems, try building for another arch (i686 or normal athlon) and remove any optimisations. What does 'emerge info' give ? or it could be a kernel problem or out of memory problem, as i experienced with ld segfaulting. please paste the output of "emerge info". i assume its a non-reproducable compiler error. reporter, reopen if needed |
