Description Holms 2007-09-13 20:32:43 UTC
Hello, was searching for a pppoe support in gentoo/freebsd, but have found just a pppd.. People in #gentoo-bsd said that gentoo/fbsd do not have pppoe support... so
if it really doesn't exist, please do something to have it =) Or if it exists point me pls to some manual how to setup it. Thnx.

Reproducible: Always

don't know much about freebsd but on linux that pppd you found is actually the "client side" meaning the one used to connect to the pppoe peer

about configuration here it is http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=4&chap=3#doc_chap4

hope this helps

Quick fix, manually doing it following:
