![]() Reassigning, not handled directly by us I can confirm this problem on my system as well, with app-office/openoffice-bin-2.3.0 Reassigning due to retirement Any news on this bug (even if it is certainly a low-priority one)? Seem that we need to update all myspell dictionaries... I'll take a look what can be done here on this week. @Peter: Still motivated to update the myspell dictionaries? ;) Well, new version is in the tree. But seems the more work is required. Andreas do I understand correctly that new OO 3 does not use dictionary.lst files and just works based on filenames? (In reply to comment #7) > Andreas do I understand correctly that new OO 3 does not use dictionary.lst > files and just works based on filenames? Yes. At least it works fine here without any dictionary.lst-files ;) (In reply to comment #8) > (In reply to comment #7) > > > Andreas do I understand correctly that new OO 3 does not use dictionary.lst > > files and just works based on filenames? > > Yes. At least it works fine here without any dictionary.lst-files ;) Ok, then this is a kind of regression (well not in OO but in the way we install myspell-* packages), since if we previously had same hyphenation file for more than one Conutry code it will not work. For example for myspell-en currently we have the following in dictionary.lst (I've manually created symlink in /usr/share/myspell): HYPH en US hyph_en_GB HYPH en GB hyph_en_GB HYPH en CA hyph_en_GB HYPH en AU hyph_en_GB But hyphenation works only for en_GB. This is kind of predictable, but have to be fixed. Hm I have to commit all the changes in myspell.eclass I did locally one day... Keeping this bug open until I fix that too. Not relevant for (open|libre)office anymore This needs to be rechecked on latest systems with latest openoffice/libreoffice |
