slocate install tries to groupadd. On the forums i found you could groupadd manually, but groupadd isn't included on the live cd and isn't installed at this point of emerge system Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge system 2. 3. Actual Results: emerge fails Expected Results: dûh not really related to the config of my system i fixed it by adding slocate to the package.mask so it's happely compiling away right now a better fix is modifiying the slocate dependencies to include the shadow package. another fix, wich i think might be what will be done in next release or someting is just to add "sys-apps/shadow" to the depends of slocate , this is what i did and it seems to work fine :) fixed in cvs |
