I have Berkeley db 4.5.20_p2 installed.
Trying to install
subversion-1.4.4-r4
fails with
checking for availability of Berkeley DB... no
configure: error: Berkeley DB 4.0.14 wasn't found.

Looking at the configure file it seems to require exactly (only)
version 4.0.14 of Berkeley DB (which isn't available anymore as an ebuild)
Furthermore it's a nuisance to install an old version of DB just for one
package.
