So use the stable one? :) BTW, any reason why is this a Gentoo-specific bug? The latest fluxbox works just fine for me, but then, I don't use fbdesk. Could you please attach your 'emerge --info', what version of fbdesk you are using, and a list of any other apps you have running in the background (conky? Uncutter?). Could you also try running without fbdesk? Thanks! fbdesk-1.2.1

If it doesn't work it should be hard masked, not testing.
If it is necessary, I can test it without this apps, but now I'm using the stable fluxbox again, so I can do anything.

Yes, I can replicate this by running 'fbdesk' in the latest testing fluxbox. I will try to figure out if it's fluxbox or fbdesk that's actually broken. The error is in fbdesk, not fluxbox, and fbdesk upstream is aware of the problem. This will be fixed in the next release of fbdesk. For now I have made fluxbox-1.0.0 block fbdesk-1.2.1 Good news! fbdesk-1.4.1 has just been released, and this fixes this bug. I have just added it to the tree, so you should be good to go. |
