Description Stephan Friedrichs 2007-09-08 15:02:09 UTC
I finally upgraded to thunderbird-2.0.0.6 (from 1.5.*) and it all worked well for a day. Today (which probably was the 2nd start of tb-2) *some* mails got lost. It looks as if they are still in ~/.thunderbird/... but they are not displayed. This issue only concerns some, not all local directories. Please help me, these mails are important...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
The mails stay missing, no matter how often I restart tb.
If the upgrade error is reproducible I don't want to test.

Could you clarify why is this a Gentoo bug? It doesn't happen with mozilla-firefox-bin, or you have some other special reason?

Because I haven't experienced that on any other OS, yet.
