Ok, my mouse is /dev/input/mouse0
Yesterday i came home and mouse wasnt working in Xfree 4.3.0-r1.
I found out that somehow /dev/input/mouse0 was no longer working and now there was
a new /dev/input/mouse1 created all by itself. I told X to use that and restarted it, and
that fixed it.
Today it happened again, but now i have /dev/input/mouse2
What's going on? :)

Reproducible: Always

Comment 2 Jay Pfeifer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-27 02:23:40 UTC
try using /dev/input/mice
Comment 3 dan 2003-05-01 20:54:45 UTC
maybe that would work. Right now I'm using /dev/gpmdata because gpm is running.
Still it's strange.

well, never did get the emerge info or full system info.
comment #2 is your best option for xfree.

closing.
