Description Renato Alves 2007-09-07 13:58:03 UTC
According to upstream, the current versions of the 1.2 series that have been distributed and included on repositories should be considered beta/alpha since they are development/test versions. The final (build) 1.2 version should be available soon. Therefore this bug can be addressed later with the final version, or use another "test" version in the meanwhile to fix the ATI bug.

Since they don't use versioning on the filenames, the only way to check the build number is by downloading and running the game.
The ATI bug was fixed in build 70801.

Thanks

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge astromenace-bin
2. run amenace
3.

Actual Results:
Game displays corruption in the initial menus. The corruption disappears in the menu where you select the ship, i.e. after selecting the mission. After entering the ships section, returning to the initial menus doesn't cause the corruption to return. However the problem repeats every time the game is restarted.

Expected Results:
No corruption.

Bleh... it seems more like we should have 1.1 in the tree and left 1.2 alone.

Thanks for the heads up on this.

ugly situation. Give 1.2-r1 a try. Hopefully either upstream will figure out how to do releases with better-named tarball names in the future.

Fixed. Thanks
