abiword-plugins-2.4.6-r1.ebuild
A modified ebuild where the goffice dependancies are correctly checked.
1/ Please, use unified diffs if you change ebuilds. 2/ <cat/pkg-x.y deps are generally pointless, resulting in upgrade/downgrade cycles or dependency tree breakage. Especially needless when there's no x11-libs/goffice-0.3 anywhere. (In reply to comment #2) > 1/ Please, use unified diffs if you change ebuilds. Sorry, will do so in future. > 2/ <cat/pkg-x.y deps are generally pointless, resulting in upgrade/downgrade > cycles or dependency tree breakage. Especially needless when there's no > x11-libs/goffice-0.3 anywhere. Except that as goffice can be parallel installed, and sooner or later goffice-0.4 will be added to the tree, that is simply to protect a lower version if a higher ends up installed as well. a simple <goffice-0.3 would do. Wrt to the current security bug opened against goffice-0.2.1, I've tested that abiword-plugins compiles against >goffice-0.2*. The surprise is that it works but it just transparently drops the goffice dependent plugin. I think it's ok for now but it means that in the near future I'll have to either try to get 2.5 in the tree or fix the plugin. abiword-2.4.6 will die as soon as possible when 2.6 gets stable. This doesn't stop abiword-plugins from compiling hence closing. |
