Although the change made in the ebuild was necessary, the compilation fails. It seems that something has changed in this kernel.

Reproducible: Always

Use net-wireless/rt2x00 instead. And please set your locales to C when reporting bugs.
Comment 3 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-30 07:05:44 UTC
yes, please provide a patch or just use rt2x00
Comment 4 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-01-27 15:16:23 UTC
Please remove this, included in 2.6.24 kernels and broken.
Comment 5 Geert Vanhaute 2008-01-27 19:03:44 UTC
There is a new version available v1.1.2.0, dispite the fact that it's in the kernel...

That's a completely different ebuild.
Comment 7 Ferenc Sandor 2008-04-17 21:02:57 UTC
Confirmed:
does not compile (kernel changed, and supports rt2x00 and rt61 but with only up to the channel 10 (not 13 as rt61 or rt2500 (ebuild)).
To fix, download the daily snapshot, it will work.
And do a snapshot for the emerge-tree too :)
Thx
