Description Steven Oliver 2007-08-28 00:36:55 UTC
This was originally a forum topic found here
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-578314-start-0-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-.html

Upon opening gxine, from command line or menu (in Fluxbox), it flashes and then quits. On the command I'm given the following output:

me@mine-1 ~ $ gxine
gtkvideo: couldn't open video driver
gxine has suffered a fatal internal error.
To get a backtrace, run gxine in a debugger such as gdb.
Then, when the error occurs:
(gdb) thread apply all bt
gxine: error: Fatal error: Segmentation fault
Segmentation fault

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open command line
2. type "gxine" press enter

Actual Results:
Program segfaults after breif flash.

Expected Results:
It should open.

My cflags are safe as seen in the thread.

Could you be so kind to paste all errors here? Also emerge --info would be very appropriate.
