Our alsa maintainer want to remove alsa-drivers from the tree; good luck with this. :P (In reply to comment #0) > ALSA-drivers-1.0.14 does not work with recent intel-hda soundcards. This hardware is supported with the latest gentoo-sources-2.6.22 release. If in future you find sound hardware that is unsupported by the kernel (but potentially supported in the alsa HG tree), please file a kernel bug and we can backport hardware support like this. |
