Please only file bugs in English. This should be completely removed from the doc as groff/man are known not to work properly and only makes people confused. You use wrong configuration. Now you try to use ISO-8859-2 manuals with UTF-8 terminal. If you have UTF-8 terminal, you should use UTF-8 manuals. The proper solution is to use newer Groff which contains native support for UTF-8. Such a version of Groff is available in Eaedificāta Repository. http://www.ffta.host.sk/Eaedificata/index.pl.html You should use: NROFF /usr/bin/preconv | /usr/bin/nroff -c -mandoc Ok, thanks for explanation :]. Anyway I guess i'll wait 'till this groff 1.20 enters the portage tree. (In reply to comment #4) > Ok, thanks for explanation :]. Right. Especially that it requires glibc-2.6. No thanks.

It doesn't require it. What do you mean? (In reply to comment #7) > (In reply to comment #6) > It doesn't require it. What do you mean? > Ok, it doesn't, i did understand this wrong. Anyway this is unofficial and not recommended. And this bug is related to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/pl/utf-8.xml doc page. Also thanks for your apply. It's not a translation bug, but the original english version bug. We can't change it in translation if it still is in the english version. |
