I got the same bug on both of my machines (amd64 and x86).. maybe we should bump intltool to force xml-parser to be rebuilt before shared-mime-info After manually updating XML-Parser, emerge still fails with unabled to find libexpat.so.0: WARNING: This version of gettext does not support extracting non-ASCII strings. That means you should install a version of gettext that supports non-ASCII strings (such as GNU gettext >= 0.12), or have to let non-ASCII strings untranslated. (If there is any) /usr/bin/xgettext: error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ERROR: xgettext failed to generate PO template file. Please consult error message above if there is any. make[1]: *** [shared-mime-info.pot] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/x11-misc/shared-mime-info-0.21-r1/work/shared-mime-info-0.21/po' make: *** [check-recursive] Error 1 dev-lib/expat is not slotted, and 2.0.1 is the latest stable version in portage. (In reply to comment #3) > After manually updating XML-Parser, emerge still fails with unabled to find > libexpat.so.0: Sorry, false alarm. It looks like my expat upgrade didn't go very smoothly. |
