Which media-sound/alsa-utils version is this about? Which modules you have loaded? in /etc/modules.d/alsa? genlop says :

Noone will notice again if you don't reopen the bug. Doing now. In alsa-utils-1.0.16-rc1, you can now set UNLOAD_ON_STOP="no" in /etc/conf.d/alsa to keep the module unload from happening. Please confirm whether this fixes the bug you reported. |
