I've read the message 100 times now, it still say the same:

for *FULL* xterm support...

So what if I don't mind limited support?

die "For full xterm clipboard support build x11-terms/xterm with USE=paste64"

It's a die! when it says that message, that wasn't clear to me at all.

It's a bad message
It's a bad implementation of other package flag requirement.

Fine if you want to flag it as WONT FIX, but I wont accept invalid.

Sorry, but I don't consider this resolved.

Read the message and do what it tells you or disable the flag. Closed case.
