The latest glade version seems to be 1.1.3 while gentoo has glade 0.6.4.

Sorry... I didnot realise the latest version was present as masked.... I am installing it right now.... any reason its masked? its 5 months old so hopefully it should be stable.

well, it is still in its development stage (1.1.x) so it shouldn't be unmasked. I know there are pitfalls while generating code with it, wouldnt want to expose everybody to that. Altough this situation isn't great either (need glade2 for gnome2 projects).
