Bug 186998 – >=sys-apps/hal-0.5.9 eats up all CPU time

i thought i had seen this bug a long time ago here, but i didn't find it again. sry

i emerged hal-0.5.9.1-r1 and after reboot the systems stops at starting hal and after a couple of minutes it moves on but starting hal faild. after boot i see that hald eats up all the cputime on one cpu/core. when i do start hal by this command: 'hald --verbose=yes --daemon=no' i see that hal runs in too and endless loop: 12:18:23.681 [W] device_info.c:984: Unhandled rule (0)!
