try using a program called 'nano' In section "10.Setting Gentoo optimizations (make.conf)", just before section "11.Starting from Stage1", it clearly states to use the command: nano -w /etc/make.conf to edit the make.conf file. Perhaps the document wasn't read carefully or this user has an older document? Either way, I'm closing this bug. |
