The Ebuild of john the ripper uses the big patch to add additional algoritms. There is a newer version of the patch available updated for version 1.7.2. The updated patch can be found here: http://www.openwall.com/john/contrib/john-1.7.2-all-7.diff.gz

Please use this updated patch for the Ebuild.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.check the Ebuild for johntheripper-1.7.2
2.the patch applied is http://www.openwall.com/john/contrib/john-1.7-all-4.diff.gz

Actual Results:  
patch john-1.7-all-4.diff.gz being applied

Expected Results:  
patch http://www.openwall.com/john/contrib/john-1.7.2-all-7.diff.gz being, applied, as it contains further improvements.
