With Virtualbox's 'vboxdrv' kernel module loaded it is almost impossible to get your Palm to show up in 'lsusb' (thus not recognized by your system)

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Emerge virtalbox-bin. install virtualbox additions
2.load the vrtualbox module: modprobe vboxdrv
3.Connect your Palm with usb, press the hotsync button and see if it shows up in lsusb.

Actual Results:  
Palm device doesn't show up in lsusb

Expected Results:  
Palm device showing up in lsusb

After some further testing I am uncertain if the vboxdrv kernel module is causing these problems.

Grabbed one from my friend and it works sanely, so INVALID here.

If you can reproduce it on system, please feel free to reopen with exact steps how to do so
