Description Alexander Gretencord 2003-03-31 11:47:28 UTC
The Squirrelmail ebuild uses a hardcoded path (/home/httpd/htdocs/) to install to. The newer
 apache ebuilds can set the document root via the homedir set in /etc/passwd which I used too
 when installing apache a few mins ago. Needless to say, I expected the same behavior from
 the squirrelmail ebuild. Now you have to make an alias to the obviously just outdated path (as
 apache used that path some time ago IIRC. Just do this:

HTTPD_ROOT=`grep ^apache: /etc/passwd | cut -d: -f6`

Perhaps you should even put a htdocs to thet HTTPD_ROOT, which would be more
 straightforward as you can then just use squirrelmail right away although I personally prefer to
 have squirrel not in htdocs but have it aliased to something else.
