The unionfs link is a wrong one into unionfs.ebuild (any version (1.4 sure))

The right one sould be :
SRC_URI="ftp://ftp.fsl.cs.sunysb.edu/pub/unionfs/unionfs-1.x/${P}.tar.gz"

Is unionfs always needed are already incorporated into the source ?

Ehh... it's right in the genkernel ebuild... we are only pulling a snapshot...

It seems that the latest stable sys-kernel/genkernel (3.4.10.907) is using sys-fs/unionfs-fuse (version 0.22), not sys-fs/unionfs.  I suppose we can close this bug?

In case of no reply I may close this bug in one week.
