Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-13 14:43:47 UTC
The sys-auth/pam_chroot package is the suggested upgrade path for users using pam_chroot USE flag in <sys-libs/pam-0.99. Please take some time to test it and keyword it as needed, considering that with or without it, pam-0.99 is supposed to go stable at the beginning of September 2k7.

Doesn't build...

sparc-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc -fPIC -Wall -Werror -pedantic -mcpu=niagara -mtune=niagara -Os -pipe -I. -c -o pam_chroot.o pam_chroot.c
cc1: warnings being treated as errors
pam_chroot.c: In function ‘_pam_get_groups’:
pam_chroot.c:294: warning: the address of ‘scratch’ will always evaluate as ‘true’
make: *** [pam_chroot.o] Error 1

This is not arch specific and about gcc-4.2, I've added a patch to fix that.

At this point this works for me, other keywords will be handle as a standard package.
