Description Mark Trolley 2007-07-12 03:12:18 UTC
mt-daap service starts but doesn't work when started in the default runlevel. iTunes on a Mac laptop doesn't see the shared music until the service is manually restarted.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add mt-daap to default runlevel.
2. Reboot.
3. Try to locate your shared music from another computer.

Actual Results:
The music won't be found. Restart the mt-daap service and the music share will appear on the other system.

Expected Results:
The music share should be visible immediately after restarting without the mt-daap service.

media-sound/mt-daapd version? emerge --info? Does the initscript fail initially, or?
Comment 2 Mark Trolley 2007-07-12 23:41:26 UTC
The problem is intermittent so I will try to gather more information and re-log if it continues.
