This needs to be submitted upstream and not to Gentoo: http://dev.gentoo.org/~dsd/genpatches/faq.htm (In reply to comment #1) > This needs to be submitted upstream and not to Gentoo: > > http://dev.gentoo.org/~dsd/genpatches/faq.htm > These patches will be included in kernel 2.6.23, but can be also used in 2.6.22 :-) We generally don't take patches blindly, without user confirmation. Perhaps you could rephrase this bug report in terms of the problems you see on 2.6.21 and 2.6.22, and which hardware you have? (In reply to comment #3) > We generally don't take patches blindly, without user confirmation. Perhaps you > could rephrase this bug report in terms of the problems you see on 2.6.21 and > 2.6.22, and which hardware you have? > There are only patches for fixing some problems with 5.1 sound, I know them because they have been included recently to mandriva kernel, but, if you want, feel free to close this bug as WONTFIX (and sorry for the inconvenience) OK. We'll happily take individual patches if we have affected users who test them. |
