configure failed like:

*** [Gentoo] sanity check failed! ***
*** libtool.m4 and ltmain.sh have a version mismatch! ***
*** (libtool.m4 = 1.5.23b, ltmain.sh = "1.5.22 Debian 1.5.22-4") ***


Reproducible: Always




doing what it suggested, i.e. running libtoolize --copy --force in workdir allowed me to complete ebuild ... compile install qmerge clean with no further errors.

Works just fine here; post your emerge --info.
