Bug 183669 – net-im/skype-1.4 display errors on non-static build

Skype does display the user ballons in the contact list just fine when the qt-static version is used, but not when linked against qt-4.2.3-r1 in Gentoo.

This could also be a Qt bug, please reassign appropriately as soon as you are sure of that.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. USE="-qt-static" emerge skype >=net-im/skype-1.4
2. Open Skype
3. Click on a contact

Actual Results:  
A bubble which has a transparent background so that the contacts below are shown.

Expected Results:  
A white bubble. (See screenshots)

We can't fix anything w/ binary-only stuff like skype; you should report such things upstream.

Nothing we can do. Use the static version if that fixes your issue.
