Dangerdeep 0.3 works fine under my Windows XP. The 0.2 version works fine under both OSes. Unfortunately the 0.3 under Linux (built from the ebuild) sudenly ends up when I press "Start mission"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start the game
2.Select "Single Mission"
3.Select some misiion and press "Start Mission"

What are you using for your virtual/glut?

media-libs/freeglut or media-libs/glut?

I'm using media-libs/glut-3.7.1

media-libs/glut is nasty. try it with freeglut.

The same with freeglut :-(

Oups! Seems like my (or precisely: OpenGL compatibility) fault:
I had tested on two similar (T4x) but little different ThinkPads. That with Windows is equipped with ATI Radeon 9000 while Gentoo with ATI Radeon 7500. Just unpacked Windows on the second one and tried under Windows on the *same* machine -- it doesn't work either. :-(

not much we can do about it then. take it up with the upstream development or switch to nvidia when buying hardware.
