Seems like my (or precisely: OpenGL compatibility) fault: I had tested on two similar (T4x) but little different ThinkPads. That with Windows is equipped with ATI Radeon 9000 while Gentoo with ATI Radeon 7500. Just unpacked Windows on the second one and tried under Windows on the *same* machine -- it doesn't work either. :-( not much we can do about it then. take it up with the upstream development or switch to nvidia when buying hardware. |
