emerge mutt failed to unpack and patch. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. type in emerge mutt Actual Results: 1. error can't find package mutt-mutt-1.5.4i-ja.1.tar.gz 2. if you fix the unpack problem, failure to apply patch path-1.5.3.cd.edit_threads.9.5 would occcur Expected Results: :-) line 34: unpack mutt-${P}i-ja.1.tar.gz typo: should be ${PV}, not ${P}. That's why it's looking for mutt-mutt-1.5.4i-ja.1.tar.gz instead of mutt-1.5.4i-ja.1.tar.gz. line 41: epatch ${DISTDIR}/${edit_threads} Have to comment this out. That patch is for 1.5.3. I can't see any reason why that would suceed. I checked the URL for the patch (http://cedricduval.free.fr/mutt/) looks like they haven't got a patch for 1.5.4 yet. The only way to get the ebuild work seems to be comment that out for now.
