ps/lm_sensors-2.10.3ps/lm_sensors-2.10.3 has a dependency upon i2c
but sys-apps/i2c is only needed for 2.4 kernels

sys-asys-apps/lm_sensors-2.10.3 doesn't have any i2c dependency.
