Wonderful; makes a lot of sense to release 2.9 after 2.9.9.9... Sigh. (In reply to comment #1) > Wonderful; makes a lot of sense to release 2.9 after 2.9.9.9... Sigh. Indeed. What do you (other sound devs) suggest we do here? Stop the broken versioning, and add 2.9 to tree and poke archteams as necessary? Or add something crazy as 2.9.9.9_p0 or 2.9.9.9.9? :) =media-sound/gnump3d-2.9 is now in tree, and I'm going to rename 2.9.7-r1 to 2.9_pre7 and 2.9.9.9 to 2.9_pre9.9. I've posted it on gentoo-dev mailing list minute ago, and giving it a 12 hour thinking/warning time. They will show as downgrades for users. *gnump3d-2.9_pre99 (05 Aug 2007) *gnump3d-2.9_pre7 (05 Aug 2007) 05 Aug 2007; Samuli Suominen <drac@gentoo.org> +gnump3d-2.9_pre7.ebuild, +gnump3d-2.9_pre99.ebuild, -gnump3d-2.9.7-r1.ebuild, -gnump3d-2.9.9.9.ebuild: Rename 2.9.7-r1 to 2.9_pre7, 2.9.9.9 to 2.9_pre99. Version 2.9 is 2.9final, and is latest. 05 Aug 2007; Samuli Suominen <drac@gentoo.org> +gnump3d-2.9.ebuild: Version bump for bug 182814, thanks to shad for reporting. |
