some time ago i used this command

convert *.pdf new.pdf and this joined me all pdfs together ... but now .... 

i can open each pdf in kpdf or xpdf ... but when i do 
convert *.pdf new.pdf

i get a now working pdf

xpdf new.pdf

Nothing critical here; also, try w/ 6.3.4-r1 and report back.

already tryied the latest unstable version .... same result

Any better w/ 6.3.5.10? If not, you'd be better off taking this upstream.
