it is marked stable, but i can't really figure out why it was masked afterwards - the comment in package.mask makes it look like it was masked simply because it is a dependancy for xterm... seemant? thanks best regards Thilo well, I didn't mask it -- it was already masked -- I simply moved it to the xfree set of packages in the mask. I will unmask it when I'm done with the new xfree layout. Now that utempter is going stable everywhere, can you make it a dependency for future versions of kdelibs (not kdebase as stated early, it changed in the 3.2 series), so we can close this bug? when we get our first 3.3 alpha1 in portage, remind me to add it as a dep, Gregorio > when we get our first 3.3 alpha1 in portage, remind me to add it as a dep, Gregorio
so it seems it's time for utempter as a dep for kdelibs-3.3_alpha1...
utempter is a pdepend dep for xorg-x11, so perhaps this is now fixed? yep, verified. we should be good to go on utempter now. |
