(original, gnome, kde) Mostly when we saw this issue, this had something to do with permissions or a home on NFS. Also there were some problems with non-utf8 systems and the kde fileselector. Yes, the system is non-utf. No slang or iconv useflags. I'm using E17 without any additional decorators. Is that the problem?
