libX11-1.1.2-r1.ebuild
Gimp is unusable with this version of libX11.
Gimp people confirmed this patch on IRC.
Here is my ebuild.
Created attachment 122077 [details, diff] XGetMotionEvents-order-fix.patch and patch file from: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11222 x11-team, status? I get more and more complaints about this, please either patch it or mask this version of libX11. In the current state it makes a whole bunch of apps completely unusable. The patch is necessary and proper based on input from upstream and other distros. Also it's necessary to fix an issue that an application that has a wide user base is using. As such this is really a QA issue, I'm going to step in and fix this bug with the supplied patch, since the patch is from upstream. Fixed in libX11-1.1.2-r1 |
