failed emerge mysql
new install from current min install iso. started this emerge immediately following Xorg install.
This is a fresh install. Min install iso. installed X then moved to mysql. have tried with and without "berkdb" Your machine is broken: "i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc: : No such file or directory" This worked earlier in the build, and then broke. Did run eselect-compiler or something in a different terminal? Also, 5.0.42 is the latest version in the meantime. |
