Since upgrading from seamonkey-1.1.1 to seamonkey-1.1.2, Mail&News no longer decrypts PGP/MIME messages in IMAP folders. Instead, an error message is displayed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place an email with PGP/MIME attachment in an IMAP folder
2. try to open the email
Actual Results:  
An error message "ERROR - IMAP message too large to decrypt/verify" pops up.

Expected Results:  
Show the email

This was working in seamonkey-1.1.1. Also, encrypted non-PGP/MIME emails are not affected.

As a workaround, copy the message to a local folder, where it will be decrypted correctly.

Hrm...probably due to enigmail version.

Can you test with the -bin version? Installing the extension from the enigmail page.

Further testing has revealed that this also happens with the binary version and with the Windows version. So this is not a Gentoo-specific problem.

Another workaround I have found is unchecking "Load MIME parts on demand (IMAP folders)" in the OpenPGP Preferences.

Unfortunately I have lots of emails with large attachments, which makes Seamonkey almost unbearably slow when on-demand loading is disabled.

Yes, this was using enigmail 0.95.0

I reported the issue upstream, but there seems to be no interest in fixing this:

What's the status of this? I guess we can't fix anything...
