Would you please continue in the original bug? Besides, there was no echo from the maintainers. I have just deduced they are not interested in my proposal that i made more than 6 months ago. Also, this time i followed the maintainers' idea even if i don't agree with them. I added speech_tools in the ebuild as well. This and the other ebuilds take me a lot of time that i won't spend in the future anymore. I even don't use it any longer and prefer lliaphon, that is easier and lighter as festival should have ever been. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also, i have checked the ebuild on a x86 computer too. system.sh doesn't recognize gentoo. The new ebuild will correct the problem. Created attachment 121026 [details]
