Description James Addison 2003-03-23 16:25:09 UTC
This is my first ebuild, so please be patient with me.

php-imlib is an enhancement for php/mod_php that replaces the built-in libGD
functionality - image manipulation. php-imlib uses Imlib2, which produces
faster, higher quality results when compared to libGD.

I believe that this package should depend on php/mod_php as well, but I'm not
sure how to force the user to have ONE or the OTHER installed... personally, I'm
a proponent of mod_php.

It is currently noted on the webpage as not working on PHP-4.3.x.
If the author updates it to work with PHP-4.3.x, please re-open this bug.
Please test it with PHP-4.3.2 before you report back as well.

Comment 4 Mathieu Pillard 2005-08-23 05:11:04 UTC
FWIW, there is now a PHP4.3 branch in php_imlib svn that seems to work for me.
I'm not familiar with the php-ext eclass and its friends though, so I won't make
an updated ebuild for it, at least not yet. If anyone wants to take a look, the
homepage is still http://pp.siedziba.pl/ , you have to checkout branches/PHP4.3
instead of the trunk.
