Created attachment 120760 [details]
the whole directory, complete with manifest, to be extracted to overlay under x11-drivers for the ebuild to work.

Usage:

extract under /usr/local/portage/x11-drivers/ (assuming that's where your overlay is)
emerge nvidia-drivers

Works for all architectures the normal ebuild does.

No tarballs, please. Also, don't paste patches inline, it completely breaks formatting. Finally, unified diffs (diff -Nau) are strongly preferred.

This is a dupe of the much better (in my completely biased opinion) ebuild in bug #176135.

Just rename its ebuild from 03 to 06.
