Description James Bowlin 2003-03-21 15:45:40 UTC
This is the same bug as reported in bug #15935. Under that bug I posted a patch
that fixed the leak in gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r1. I just installed gentoo-sources
2.4.20-r2 and the bug is still there. Not only that but the mm/page_alloc.c file has
changed so the patch I posted no longer applies.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open control_center -> appearance_&_themes -> screensaver
2. click on various GLX screen savers
3. watch available RAM disappear
Actual Results:
Availabe RAM decreases significantly.

Expected Results:
Available RAM should be about the same after I check out various GLX screen savers.

I am using Nvidia 3123 drivers.

I classified this as "Major" because I can't use GLX while the leak exists.
