I've got digest verification problem, whenh trying to emerge googleearth:
emerge googleearth
(...)
!!! Digest verification failed:

!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
!!! Got: 23852601
!!! Expected: 21607408

The probably change the binary file. Ebuild need to be updated to match the new file size.
