Does it also fail if the problematic mail is in its own mailfolder? Can you then please send it to me? mairix never failed for me with -O2. Yes - it does also fail in its own mailfolder. I sent you the file. I was able to reproduce the segfault on x86. However only with version 0.20! On amd64 the problem doesn't appear with 0.19 either. (I didn't write the version I used in the bugreport, sorry) Please test the new version (0.21). Does is work? With and without -O2? Version 0.20 did segfault for me too. I found two debian bugreports: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=416999 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=419138 and also the mairix-user list reports segfaults: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=200705172249.15219.mister.woody%40gmail.com&forum_name=mairix-users In the announcement of 0.21: "This at least solves (I hope!) the name/value parser bug that has been catching quite a lot of people (at least, I've had many reports about it.)" So let's test and reopen this bugreport if it still segfaults. Thanks. Version 0.21 works for me! (with and without -O2) thanks for your help! |
