Because some people need them.  Please, this is not a forum for questions, just

drobbins, obvisously people think of them as bugs. (so do I, for lilo). 
If we are to have everything people need in system we would have all packages there.

OK, I'll remove lilo and iproute2 from the base system.  But I really hope that
we don't start getting "LILO missing" bugs posted here.
